My son is going to a double birthday party tomorrow, two of the girls in his class are celebrating their 13th birthday, and the entire class is invited. Buying gifts for 13 year old girls seems like an impossible task, and so I decided to go with a money-gift.
I have been twisting my brain all afternoon trying to come up with a good design for these triangle birthday boxes, and finally settled for a very simple design, since I loooove this pattered paper from My Mind's Eye:
The flower is from the Hero Arts digi kit flower faces, colored with Copics.
These little boxes are great for holding money gifts, and there's room for a greeting inside.
Oh, and I got some Distress Stains in the mail today, and BOY are they fun to work with!! I'll be sharing the result of playing around with these stains this weekend, but for now I just want to say that they are GREAT for coloring ribbon! SO EASY!! These ribbons right here were colored using Wild Honey and Broken China.
See you around!
