Resist technique

Hi there,
I am so overwhelmed and happy  about the way you all greated me here in blog-land, thank you all so much for your kind and supportive comments!

The card I am sharing today features a technique that makes you feel like a magician, resist stamping! I have used gloss cardstock, and stamped the floral brocade using Versamark ink.

When completely dry I covered the entire piece heavily with Hero Hues chalk ink "grass", let it set for a few seconds and wiped off the excess ink with a cloth, and like magic the stamped image appears. What fun! Stamps and ink, you know! And isn't that the most gorgeous green you ever saw??
