Newspaper Heart
I really love MANY of the new Hero Arts stamps for 2012 with newspaper print on them! They stamp so beautifully with lots of detail, and they are great FUN for doing different techniques. This is two cards I've done using the new Newspaper Heart CG418:
On this card I've clear embossed the heart on some white cardstock, and then added Distress Inks Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Barn Door using a sponge. Here's a detail shot:
On the second card I've also clear embossed the heart, but this time I used Distress Stains, same colors as above, splotching about:

Both of your cards are beautiful - love the red heart and the red heart background on the first.
Great choice of background stamp on the kraft - Love twine on the second :)
