As you can see, I am also very inspired by the lovely photo presented on the blog on Friday:
For the ornaments I tried a technique shared on the Hero Arts blog a while back: I inked up the ornaments using Hero Hues Iris Chalk Ink and stamped off on a scrap piece of paper. Then tilted the ink pad and inked up the stamp again, but only inking up a portion of the stamp, that way you get two different shades of the Iris ink. The entire ornament was covered with a thin layer of Glossy Accents, and then all was covered with Prisma glitter.
BTW, the ornaments are from a very old Hero Arts stamp set called Decorative Ornaments Fancy Notes (LL947). The background is this year's Merry Background (S5531), and it will no doubt be the most used stamp this season!
Here's a close up of the bling-y part:
I had so much fun creating this card, and I finally felt really inspired to get going on my christmas cards, I just love that feeling!
A happy Sunday to all of you!
