New challenge at Tiffany Doodles!

Wow, how time flies when you're having fun! And life is buzy :o) Enjoying summer too, trying to spend as much time outdoors as possible, we never know how long the warm weather will last around here!

Anyway, I'm popping in with a card for Tiffany Doodles new challenge this month, "All Creatures Great + Small"

Meet mr Fuzzy Bird! I wanted him somewhat colorful, so I ended up with blue, and thought he came out kind of cute :o)  The image is colored with Copics, the card base is Hero Hues paper "Poppy", stamped Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain (S5208) using Hero Hues Chalk Ink "Poppy". The lace is colored using Distress Stain Broken China.

So why not join in the fun, you can check out the challenge here.

Male cards/gift wrapping

During June, the theme on Kreative Fornemmelser has been male cards/gifts, and here are a couple of projects I made for the design team.

This first one is a gift wrapping of a book. I decided not to wrap the book completely up, only make a "belt" around it, then I created the jeans pocket to hold the birthday-tag:

On the next card I did some masking, and I just love the magic you can create with this technique! The stamp is from the Lawn Fawn "cruisin' through life"-set, and I stamped the bicycle in front first, then masked it off, and stamped what was going to be the "male" part of the tandem bike (without the basket...) Added some distressing, and Glossy Accent to some of the details:
Thanks for visiting me today, have a great weekend!

Challenges again!

Finally, I had time to make a card for a challenge! I literally squeeled when I saw the colors of this weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge, toooo gorgeous! And then, along came CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, and all of a sudden I had this design in my head:
Don't you just love it when a design comes together without any hesitation? It just happens!
The aqua and orange panels are colored with Distress Inks, Spiced Marmelade and Tumbled Glass, stamped with Elegant Weeds, CG185, by Hero Arts. The pink panel is Ranges gloss cardstock, colored with alcohol ink Wild Plum. The sentiment is Norwegian, and says Congratulations.

Is, by the way, anyone else having trouble leaving comments on blogs lately? On most blogs I am just not able to leave comments at all, I keep being thrown back into the log in site whenever I try to post a comment, and its driving med CRAZY! So, my blog friends: if you don't receive any comments from me, this is the reason! I still visit all of you regularly, and I hope this will be sorted out soon!

Envelope Pattern

There is one stamp I use on almost every project since I bought it, how did I ever manage without it? I am, of course, talking about the Envelope Pattern from Hero Arts!
Here are a couple of more projects featuring this brilliant stamp, both Design Team projects for Kreative Fornemmelser.

Shy bunny

My little girl was thrilled when she saw this image by Tiffany Doodles, the shy bunny. She loves them! She's got one of her own, it's her little baby!
This is my first go with this image:
Check out Tiffany's digi shop, there are sooo many cute images!
The background, by the way, was created using Distress Inks Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire. I stamped the ink pad directly onto my work surface, spritzed with water, and dipped the watercolor paper in the ink. It gives a totally unexpected, and different look everytime, you never know what you're getting. Love that!
